In summer the early evenings are a fine time to climb up past Robin Hood's Rocks to enjoy the view down and out over the valley and across to Bell House and Erringden moor running over to Hebden Bridge and then on to Todmorden.
Cragg Vale is populated with old weavers’ and mill cottages. In winter it can get pretty raw if spectacular, but Inside we’re very snug and warm; most often it will be inside one or other of our two hostelries to be honest.
